Cebu joins in the celebration of your International Coastal Clean-up Day on Saturday, September 15 that has a coastal clean-up drive along the seaside areas of Liloan town in upper Cebu.
Spearheading the coastal clean-up activity this can be a Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) 7 to help commemorate the annual event by virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 470.
Hundreds of participants are expected to join the coastal clean-up, particularly DENR 7 employees as well as members of other government agencies, city units, private entities, academe and other stakeholders.
The Municipality of Lioan has been chosen to be the venue of this years coastal clean-up push involving four coastal barangays. These kind of barangays are Cotcot, Jubay, Poblacion and Catarman covering an approximate 6.5 kilometers regarding coastline,new beats by dre.
This years celebration bears the theme Bayanihan Para sa Karagatan.
